CASHEWNUT BARFI

Ingredients Quantity
Sugar 300 gm
Cashewnuts 100 gm
Coconut 150 gm
Cardamom 10 gm
Fat 10 gm
Method


  1. Soak casewnuts in water for 1 hour.

  2. Grind coconut and cashewnuts into a fine paste.

  3. Add sugar and cook the mixture on a slow fire stirring constantly.

  4. Add fat and keep stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.

  5. Add cardmom powder, and remove the mixture, and put on a greased plate for cooling.

  6. When cold, cut into cubes.
